RareWire Announces Native EyeVerify Integration

RareWire today announced native integration with EyeVerify, bringing the innovative mobile biometric technology to RareWire’s App Creation Studio. With EyeVerify, developers using RareWire’s platform can easily build apps that deliver a password-free mobile experience and secure authentication at a glance.

The integrated solution is on display in RareWire’s submission to the Salesforce $1 Million Hackathon at Dreamforce 2013. Dreamforce is the annual conference for Salesforce users, and RareWire partnered with Iolite to participate in the hackathon this year. The Salesforce demo app includes the EyeVerify integration, allowing users to log in and access secure Salesforce data without using a password. When users first open the app, they create their Eyeprint in less than a minute. After the initial launch, the app will verify the stored Eyeprint pattern in about one second, to authenticate users with access to its information.

Biometric technology has been growing in popularity and acceptance as technology has improved. Apple’s recently launched iPhone 5s includes Touch ID, a fingerprint recognition technology. EyeVerify is the exclusive worldwide provider of Eyeprint Verification and was recently named the Startup of the Year at the Silicon Prairie Awards and was national champion at Get in the Ring: American Startup Clash. With native integration into the RareWire App Creation Studio, biometric technology has never been easier to add to mobile apps.

“With native integration in RareWire’s App Creation Studio, mobile app developers can easily embed EyeVerify technology into any native mobile app they want to build on RareWire,” said EyeVerify CEO Toby Rush. “We think it’s a natural fit and a great opportunity for both EyeVerify and RareWire.”
